Descope is an External IAM platform that provides secure, frictionless identity journeys for users, business customers, partners, AI agents, and MCP servers. It offers visual workflows, SDKs, and APIs to create and customize identity journeys. The platform aims to reduce user friction, prevent account takeover, and provide a 360° view of customer and agentic identities. Descope has raised $35 million in funding to better protect artificial intelligence and machine learning models. The company is led by CEO Slavik Markovich, who previously led SOAR vendor Demisto.
